1. Characteristics: 
Magnesium sulphate, other names, sulfate bitter, bitter salt, epsomite, Epsom salt, molecular formula MgSO4.7H2O, relative molecular weight **6.*7. Feature in white or colorless crystal, odorless, cool, little bitter, dissolve in water easily. It\' s an important chemical compound. Its constituent elements are magnesium, sulfur and oxygen.

2. Application: 
( 1) One of its major uses is in agriculture and gardening where it is used as a fertilizer.
( 2) Feeding magnesium sulfate is considered as supplement for magnesium for feeding.
( 3) There are a number of uses in medical such as diminish inflammation, detumescence, detoxification, acesodyne, cholagogue. And it\' s also used in treament for pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, preterm labor, heart attack, asthma etc.
( 4) Apply in printing for thin cotton cloth, as weighting agent for cotton and silk, filling for ceiba product.
( 5) Used for grass-making, fertilizer, porcelain, paint, match, detonator and fireproof materials.
( 6) Culture medium ingredient for animalcule industry, additives for brewing. Moreover, it can be apply as magnesium for compensate brewage, as nutrition source in ferment.
( 7) As filler in leather-making industry for increasing heat endurance performance.
